Dorian Kusyk, MD, is a neurosurgeon who specializes in deep brain stimulation (DBS) for movement disorders and psychiatric illnesses. His research interests aim to improve the patient experience surrounding neuromodulation, the non-motor effects of Parkinson’s Disease and the socio-economic landscape of functional neurosurgery. He completed his residency at AHN Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He received additional training through a fellowship in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He is a member of the American Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeon, and the North American Neuromodulation Society.
