About
Dr. A Moses Lee MD, PhD is an interventional psychiatrist and the director of the OCD Program at the University of California, San Francisco. He runs a lab focused on how brain networks give rise to psychiatric symptoms to identify points of intervention using neuromodulation to treat these conditions. His lab focused on the use of neurophysiology (surface and intracranial EEG), imaging (structural, DTI, fMRI) and systems neuroscience approaches to understand the brain basis of behavioral and mental health conditions across a range of spatial and temporal scales to develop targeted approaches to delivering brain stimulation to treat neuropsychiatric disorders. Currently, Dr. Lee's group focuses on the use of both non-invasive methods of neuromodulation, such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and low-intensity focused ultrasound, in addition to deep brain stimulation (DBS) to address psychiatric and neurological conditions.
