This session aims to understand the latest advances in utilizing focused ultrasound and laser interstitial thermal therapy (LITT) for the management of a variety of intracranial disorders including movement disorders, refractory epilepsy, and oncologic processes.

Dr. Bick is an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She attended medical school at Vanderbilt and completed Neurosurgery residency and functional neurosurgery fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Her clinical interests include deep brain stimulation, movement disorders, epilepsy surgery, facial pain, and psychiatric neurosurgery. She also runs a lab focused on studying the neurophysiology of cognitive and psychiatric processes with the goal of developing novel neuromodulation approaches.
