April Egbert, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Lead Nurse Practitioner specializing in interventional pain management. With nearly 20 years of nursing experience and more than 9 years in pain management, April specializes in the comprehensive management of complex chronic pain, including intrathecal drug delivery systems. In her clinical leadership role, she manages Medtronic intrathecal pump therapy, mentors advanced practice providers, develops clinical policies and protocols, and participates in clinical research. She is also an experienced nursing educator who teaches RN-BSN, FNP, and DNP students. Her professional interests include intrathecal therapy, evidence-based pain management, advanced practice provider education, and improving clinical outcomes through effective, patient-centered care.
