About

Developed in collaboration with the North American Neuromodulation Society, this full-day immersive course is designed for Advanced Practice Providers in pain management and neurosurgery seeking practical, up-to-date training in neuromodulation. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of contemporary neuromodulation therapies. Through lectures, case-based learning, and interactive discussion, APPs will strengthen skills in patient selection, preoperative optimization, basic programming, postoperative management, and device troubleshooting. Emphasis is placed on evidence-informed practice, real-world clinical decision-making, and navigating rapidly evolving neuromodulation technologies within multidisciplinary pain care.

    Patrick McGinn is a nationally certified physician assistant specializing in interventional pain management at Premier Pain Centers in Shrewsbury, NJ. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in sociology and concentration in health care delivery at Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia. He then went on to earn his Masters of Science in Physician Assistant studies at Stony Brook University. He has worked in the Interventional Pain Management space for approximately eleven years. He has also additional experience in the field of addiction medicine for the past five years. He takes great pride in problem-solving and formulating an individualized treatment plan for each of his patients.

    Evan Jay is a graduate of the Quinnipiac University Physician Assistant program where he excelled in both Pain Management and Sports Medicine. He is dual-credentialed as a Certified Athletic Trainer, graduating from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor’s degree and from East Stroudsburg University with a Master’s degree in Athletic Training. His extensive background in physical medicine and rehabilitation along with his understanding of internal medicine allows him to provide a high level of well-rounded care to his patients. He thrives to coordinate care amongst the healthcare team in order to develop personalized treatment plans to minimize pain and maximize patient recovery. As a healthcare professional, Evan takes advantage of his ability to connect with patients to create a comfortable, positive experience.
